This role also helps support employee engagement efforts and promotes equitable hiring practices within a mission-driven nonprofit environment.

    System Administration Intern
    Provides technical support and helps maintain the organization’s IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, user accounts, and network systems. Responsibilities include troubleshooting technical issues, assisting with workstation setup and equipment management, documenting IT processes, and supporting cybersecurity and system maintenance efforts.

    Project Management Intern
    Assists with planning, coordinating, and monitoring nonprofit programs and initiatives. Responsibilities include helping develop project timelines, tracking tasks and deliverables, maintaining project documentation, supporting stakeholder communication, and contributing to post-project evaluation and continuous improvement efforts.

    Internship Requirements

    Each role has minimum competency and experience requirements. In addition, all interns must meet the following expectations. đź“© Questions? Email recruiting@americans4equality.org

    1. In-Person Work
    Interns are required to be onsite in Bellevue at WeWork from 10:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Designated in-office days will be determined by your supervisor.

    2. Attendance & Professionalism
    Maintain at least 90% attendance, adhere to business casual dress standards, and demonstrate professional communication at all times.

    3. Performance Criteria
    Candidates with below 80% attendance or below 80% attainment in their respective Warp program will be automatically disqualified from the internship program.

    4. Agreements
    Prior to joining, all interns will be required to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) and a Code of Conduct.
    Note: Failure to meet or maintain these requirements may result in removal from the internship program. Exceptions or accommodations may be made on a case-by-case basis.
